The major reason why people want to boycott Laal Singh Chaddha is that it is just not a remake but a bad remake of the superhit movie Forest Gump. People think that Aamir and Kareena are too old to play the role of 18 years old characters. Makers should have cast Actors from the Punjab industry instead because they would have played better characters for Punjabi roles. People are calling Laal Singh Chaddha the Cheap version of Forest Gump. People don’t want to ruin the charm of the original superhit movie.
The second major reason is kareena’s statement which was very rude, during an interview she said “people who have a problem with star kids should avoid watching films starring them, because the people who watch these films are promoting nepotism and we are not forcing anybody to watch our films.” This statement has troubled Kareena Kapoor because now people are showing their anger on Twitter and saying that as Kareena said we are not going to watch her film.
